Ruling class holding people’s destiny in their hands: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Chairman of MQI’s Supreme Council, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, has said that the livelihood of millions of the poor is concentrated in the hands of a small exploitative and oppressive elite. He said that the people would be able to get their rights back from their oppressors only when they launched a struggle with resolve and steadfastness aimed at snatching their rights. He said that the usurped rights would be restored and handed back to the people under the leadership of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that the Islamabad Long March was a seminal point of struggle, which would culminate in the form of a revolution. He said that once 20 million ‘Namazis’ got together, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri would surely lead the prayer, which would be conclusive and pave the way for demise of satanic politics.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Qadri expressed these views while addressing a workers convention of Pakistan Awami Tehreek in Nosharan Virkan yesterday. PAT central President Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, central coordinator Sajid Mahmood Bhatti, and secretary information Qazi Faiz-ul-Islam also accompanied him.

Thousands of people warmly welcomed Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri on his way to Noshahran Virkan at Shakupura Interchange, Ammu kay, Baig Pura, Mangu ki Virkan, and Badhu Ratta. The people kept on dancing before his car. Women and children threw rose petals on him from rooftops. The people continued to chant slogans on the way.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the platform of PAT was for restoration of rights to every Pakistani. He said that becoming part of caravan of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri was the solution of every problem.

Dr Hassan informed the thousands of men and women attending the public meeting about the ruling class’ anti-people psychology in view of bleak economic and political conditions. He reminded them that their destiny would not change unless they rose up to challenge the status quo. He said that the circumstances the country was stuck up in demanded that the plunderers should be dethroned from power, adding that everyone would have to join the mainstream and play his role for democratic and peaceful change in the country.
