Knowledge should be be-all and end-all of students' life: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Winter Study Camp 2024 organized by the Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM), Chairman Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that for young people to lead successful lives, they must embrace knowledge, cultivate and apply it. True knowledge, he said, is beneficial when acted upon, benefiting both the individual and society.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that knowledge is the light of Allah, which never gathers in the impurities of the heart's vessels. He asked the participants to keep their hearts free from the worldly desires and passions. He said that Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri attained knowledge throughout his life and traveled great distances for it. He congratulated the students who traveled from Gilgit-Baltistan to Lahore for the attainment of knowledge and prayed that may Allah, the Lord of Honor, bless them with success at every turn of life!
Sheikh Farhan Aziz, the central president of the Mustafavi Students Movement, welcomed the students in his opening remarks, describing them as patriotic, peace-loving, and knowledge-seeking. He stated that the Mustafavi Students Movement is always vibrant under the intellectual guidance of Shaykh-ul-Islam, focusing on the reform of the character and actions of young students. Sheikh Farrukh Aziz also briefed about the Winter Camp.
At the closing ceremony, Central General Secretary MSM Mian Anser Mahmood, Camp Coordinator Rashid Mustafvi, Ashfaq Alam, and other student leaders also expressed their views. Shields and certificates were distributed among the students on this occasion. Engineer Sanaullah, Director MWF Projects Pakistan, Hasan Ali, Organizer of Minhaj-ul-Quran Movement Gilgit, and Muhammad Ali, President MSM Gilgit-Baltistan, along with a large number of students attended the event.
