The Central President of Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM), Sheikh Farhan Aziz, has stated that MSM is introducing the youth to a comprehensive message of knowledge, character, leadership, and national service. He emphasized that students are the backbone of any society’s intellectual and practical development, and it is this segment upon which the future of the nation is built.
He expressed these views while addressing students during a three-day training workshop organized by MSM. The workshop saw significant participation from MSM’s central, provincial, and district-level leaders, along with a large number of students from various colleges and universities.
Sheikh Farhan Aziz said that MSM is an intellectual, ideological, and training-oriented movement that aims not just to provide academic qualifications to the younger generation, but also to equip them with religious understanding, moral insight, and leadership skills.
He stated, “Our educational institutions have been reduced to mere degree-distributing bodies, while the personal, intellectual, and moral development of students is being entirely ignored.” He explained that MSM is working to fill this gap by organizing intellectual gatherings, training workshops, study circles, and programs based on Seerah (Prophetic life) and ethics in educational institutions across the country.
The MSM President also expressed concern over the misuse of social media and warned the youth: “Platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, if used without awareness, become a waste of youth’s time, minds, and potential. The youth should utilize these platforms for positive and purposeful aims.”
He concluded by saying that the Mustafavi Students Movement wants the new generation to pursue education not merely for employment, but with a spirit of dedication, vision, and sacrifice for the progress, welfare, and awakening of the nation and the Ummah.
