Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to give special message to students

Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) will organize Student Awareness Congregation on 19th of November, which will be the biggest event of Lahore’s history. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver a special message to the youth and students in view of prevailing situation in the country. He would also deliver his keynote speech on the topic of how and why change could be brought about. The roads and atmosphere of Lahore would witness hordes of students flocking to Nasir Bagh from across the country. Around fifty thousand students are expected to make it to the mega event. Their participation in such large numbers would give a strong message to the people of Pakistan that the student community has woken up and are ready to play their role for the country’s solidarity and real change.

Tajamul Hussain, President of MSM, expressed his views while addressing a press conference in Lahore Press Club. Other office holders of MSM Irfan Asif, Abdul Ghaffar Mustafavi, Zameer Mustafavi, Umair Mustafavi, and student leaders of various Universities were also present on the occasion.

Tajamul Hussain said that students and youth are the future of any nation and keep a close watch on the national developments. The grim and difficult circumstances currently obtaining in the country have not only badly affected the millions of people but also violated the rights of the students by narrowing down opportunities for them.

Corruption, back-breaking dearness, lack of justice, unemployment and obsolete educational system has paralyzed the society. Institutions have gravely been damaged and people have been robbed of their basic and fundamental rights. He said that in these circumstances it has become incumbent upon the students to play the same role for change as they did during the freedom movement.

MSM President said that the current exploitative system was the biggest enemy of the people. He said that MSM has kept up its sustained struggle against the attitudes of intolerance, extremism and radicalization. He said that thousands of the students would start their struggle for a positive and peaceful change under the leadership of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. This struggle would go on until the objective of making Pakistan a corruption-free society is not achieved. He said that the students associated with MSM have always promoted the culture of knowledge. “Pen, book and character are our biggest weapon. The top priority of students is education and the country could progress only if they gave due importance to this priority. The raising of awareness stands on the top of MSM’s agenda and this can bring about real change in the country,” he concluded.
