Pakistan Saraiki League and Pakistan Saraiki Movement have announced to join hands with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT). Makhdoom Moin-ur-Raheem Qureshi al-Hashmi, Chairman of Pakistan Saraiki League and Makhdoom Adeel Pirzada, Chairman of Pakistan Saraiki Movement called on PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at his residence and formally announced to join PAT with their hundreds of workers and leaders. They vowed not to hesitate to offer any sacrifice for revolution under the leadership of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. Prof Dr Mamona Naz, Secretary General of Pakistan Saraiki Movement, Basharat Aziz Jaspal, Fayyaz Warriach, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Qazi Faiz, Iftikhar Shah Bokhari, Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry, Ain-ul-Haq and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Makhdoom Pir Moin-ud-Din and Makhdoom Adeel Pirzada said that the incumbent rulers possessed attributes of Pharaohs and they enjoyed sucking the blood of the masses. They said that there was neither rule of law nor supremacy of democracy in the country, adding that sanctity of homes was being violated. They said that oppressed, destitute, and helpless people of Saraikistan were with Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri in his struggle for revolution.
Dr Mamona Naz, while speaking on the occasion, said that the establishment of a Saraiki province was a must for stability and solidarity of Pakistan. She said that 65% of revenue of South Punjab was being spent on Raiwind palaces. She said that the rulers did not have vision and could not come up with anything except metro bus and laptop. He said that the people were without any facilities of shelter, education, health and water and the rulers were busy in wasting precious resources on non-productive projects under the impression that perhaps they represented development of Pakistan. She said that the days of the dishonest and incompetent rulers in power had been numbered and they would be no more in sacred institutions. She said that the people would hold them accountable for their actions.
