The annual Winter Study Camp 2025 for students from Gilgit-Baltistan, organized by the Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM), is underway at the Aagosh Complex in Township, Lahore. The camp is hosting a large number of students from colleges in Gilgit-Baltistan and Karakoram International University. Its objective is to provide educational, moral, and practical training to students while enhancing their skills and personal development.
Central General Secretary of MSM Pakistan, Mian Ansar Mahmood, welcomed the students along with his team. Recently, a rescue training session was organized for the participants, where students were taught essential principles of responding to emergencies and saving themselves and others.
During practical training by Rescue 1122, students learned emergency response techniques, including dealing with choking, fractures, firefighting, and other first aid skills.
Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najam, Deputy Director of Coordination, Minhaj-ul-Quran International, addressed the students, emphasizing that Islam is a comprehensive religion providing guidance in every sphere of life. He urged students to implement Islamic principles in their lives and mold their character according to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. He highlighted that Islam encompasses all aspects of life, including worship, ethics, economy, politics, and social relations.
Deputy Director General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf, spoke on "The Role of MSM in the Era of Trials." He remarked that today’s world faces ideological, moral, and spiritual crises, making organizations like MSM vital. He urged students to distinguish between truth and falsehood and live their lives in alignment with Islam's true message. He encouraged the younger generation to arm themselves with knowledge and wisdom and prepare to uphold Islamic principles.
Sheikh Farhan Aziz, Central President of MSM Pakistan, addressed the students, stating that the camp will not only contribute to academic growth but also strengthen them socially and spiritually. He encouraged students to achieve their dreams through career counseling, communication skills, Quranic teachings, and oratory training.
Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi stressed the need for youth to understand the essence of Islam and convey its true message to the world, urging them to make knowledge their power.
Allama Noor-ul-Ain Qadri delivered a lecture on "Understanding the Quran. Mutahir Mansoor Mustafa educated students on the intricacies of public speaking. Syed Faraz Hashmi conducted a comprehensive session on "Earning through Digital Media," which received immense appreciation from students.
