Attack on Quaid-e-Azam Residency a challenge to Pakistani nationalism: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has strongly condemned the act of vandalism and destruction of the Quaid-e-Azam Residency in Ziarat. He said that those who attacked this national heritage were enemies of the state and society. He said that Ziarat Residency was a national monument where the great Quaid lived during the last days of his life. He said that attack on the Residency and hoisting of another flag to replace Pakistan’s was meant to convey a symbolic message to the government and people of Pakistan. He said that attack constituted a moment of reckoning for the entire nation, adding that those opposed to idea of Pakistan were attacking the symbols of Pakistani nationalism. He said that it was about time that the government woke up to the glaring reality and undertook steps to calm things down in the restive province of Balochistan.
